After 2 years of biochemical engineering, I wanted to take on an extra challenge. There are several reasons why I chose SATUS. All the networking opportunities with like-minded students are extremely valuable and educational at the same time. SATUS also offers a more than suitable environment for skill development. I hope to develop valuable soft skills like pitching, teamworking, etc. My passion for science and technology plays a part in all of this as well. In my spare time, I enjoy meeting up with friends and I'm active in my local youth movement.
As a student biochemistry & biotechnology, I've always had an interest for research and development of new technologies. SATUS is exactly what I was looking for: a safehaven to develop skills, share ideas and to learn from like-minded people. With a young spirit and sharp-minded members, SATUS is the way to go for growing your professional career and soft skills in a unique way.
Exchanging ideas and learning how to take those ideas to the market is a field I would love to explore in more detail. As a Bioscience Engineer, I believe SATUS is a great opportunity to learn more about start-ups and the functioning of companies in order to take part in sustainable development. Besides my studies, I enjoy playing hockey and scouting.
Joining SATUS was an easy decision for me. By being a part of this team I'm able to work in an environment with like-minded students with a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. SATUS also offers me opportunities to improve and enhance my soft skills whilst expanding my knowledge in the start-up field. Outside of my engineering studies I enjoy running, swimming, and cooking.
